According to Afghanistan’s Ministry of Defence, Daesh (ISIS) terror group suffered heavy casualties during the ANA forces in eastern Nangarhar province.
39 Daesh (ISIS) affiliates were killed in Pachigram district during air and ground operations, the Ministry of Defence said in a statement.

During the operations, a number of terrorists were wounded and ammunition fell to the security forces, the statement added.
The statement also added that 25 insurgents were killed and 5 others were wounded in Ghazni’s Qarabagh district.
