Jamiat-e Islami to Have Candidate for Presidential Election
A source close to the deputy of Jamiat-e Islami party Ahmad Zia Masoud says the party will have a candidate for the presidential election.
A source close to the deputy of Jamiat-e Islami party Ahmad Zia Masoud says the party will have a candidate for the presidential election.
It is consulted with the Afghanistan’s Grand National Coalition and the candidate of this political coalition will be a member of Jamiat party either, the source said under condition.
Meanwhile, some sources reported that between Ata M. Noor and Salahuddin Rabbani, one of them will be the candidate of Jamiat party in the presidential election.
Abdullah Abdullah was the candidate of Jamiat-e Islami in 2014 presidential election.
However, Jamiat-e Islami has not officially commented yet.
