The Paktika’s Jani Khed district chief was killed in Taliban attack, the provincial governor’s spokesman confirmed Thursday.
“Haji Na’im Katwazai, the Jani Khel district chief was in killed in Taliban attack on Wednesday,” said Mohammad Rahman, the spokesman for the Paktika governor.

According to him, gunmen affiliated to Taliban group riding motorcycle attack the car carrying the Jani Khel district chief and kill him.
