At least 11 children were killed in a suicide bombing as the attacker detonated the explosive device near a religious school in Kandahar’s district of Daman, Matiullah Helal, deputy spokesman for the provincial police chief told reporters.

“The attack that targeted a NATO convoy at 11:00 am (local time), also injured 16 people, including five troops from Romania, and two police officers,” said Qasim Afghan, the head of provincial police headquarter press office.
Mr Afghan told BBC that the initial information indicates the incident was carried out by (Mullah Wali Mohammad) one of the released prisoners of Hezb-e Islami.

Mirwais hospital in Kandahar province confirmed that three dead and two injured people were transferred to the hospital. A woman is among the dead people too.
Yet, no individual or group have claimed responsibility for the attack.
