“Afghanistan has turned into intelligence race among some regional and world countries,” Karzai emphasized.

President Hamid Karzai issued his statement on Wednesday morning at the 7th Moscow International Security Conference. in addition to the Russian authorities, numerous delegations from all over the world had attended the meeting.
“Afghanistan has been the victim of extremism and terrorism, which is used as a means for a number of states to reach their goals,” Hamid Karzai said in a statement.
He also questioned the rise of Daesh in the country despite the intelligence and military presence of the United States.

The former president rejected the military and bombardment of houses and villages of civilians and considered peace and inter-Afghan talks as the only way out of current disastrous status.

Hamid Karzai emphasized that Afghanistan should become the field of cooperation among various countries, not the field of rivalries and conflicts.
