“They made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. We salute their patriotism. And we condemn the perpetrators in the strongest terms possible,” Khalilzad twitted Wednesday.
“The best way to honor our fallen heroes and their families is to make sure those responsible are brought to justice, and to end the Afghan war with a peace agreement that ensures Afghanistan is never again a threat to the US while dramatically reducing our burden,” he stressed.
US Defense officials announced Tuesday that 3 US soldiers were killed and 3 others wounded on Monday night car bomb attack in Bagram district of Parwan province.
