At least one killed seven others wounded as a result of an explosion in western Herat province on Sunday.

At least one killed seven others wounded as a result of an explosion in western Herat province on Sunday.
“The blast took place inside Nabi Akram Mosque,” provincial police spokesman Abdul Ahad Walizada said.
“One killed and seven injured people have been transferred to the hospital so far,” said Herat’s central hospital spokesperson.
Herat security officials do not give details of the explosion, but the number of casualties caused by the explosion may increase.
This is the first bloody attack in the new solar year in western Herat province.
No group has yet claimed responsibility.
