On Sunday, the chairman of Afghanistan’s High Peace Council (HPC) said during a gathering that the view of Afghan people regarding peace process have been shared with the leaders of Taliban group via letters.
“Yesterday the head of the “Peace” Council of the Kabul administration claimed during a gathering that the leaders of the Islamic Emirate have held video conferences with them and are in contact with them via letters, we categorically reject this propaganda,” Zabihullah Mujahid said.

“These claims are made to deceive minds and gain legitimacy for this superficial council,” he added.

The Taliban spokesman claimed that recently forgers had been in contact with Kabul administration in the name of Taliban representatives and the group has arrested two of the forgers.
However, Taliban have not recognized the Afghan government and demanded direct talks with the Americans.
