Mohib Praises Pakistan’s Interior Minister for Revealing his country’s Support to Taliban

National Security Adviser (NSA) Hamdullah Mohib says Pakistan’s Interior Minister revelations about his country’s support to the Taliban are commendable.

“I commend Pakistan’s Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid for exposing Pakistani support to Taliban,” said NSA Hamdullah Mohib in response to Pakistani Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid’s remarks about the Taliban. “We need more brave Pakistanis to speak out against the onslaught on Afghanistan,” he added.

Pakistan’s interior minister Sheikh Rashid, during an interview with Geo News, said that families of Afghan Taliban reside in his country, including in the capital city of Islamabad.
“Taliban families live here in Pakistan, in Rawat, Loi Ber, Bara Kahuh, and Tarnol,” Rashid told the news network citing the names of Islamabad suburbs.
“Sometimes their dead bodies arrive and sometimes they come here in hospitals to get medical treatment,” he added.

Pakistani media reported On Sunday, quoting Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, that he had called on the Afghan Taliban to stop what he called terrorist movements against his country.
