Mubariz, Hotak Beat Ukrainian, Scottish Rivals in MMA Champ
Afghan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters Baz M. Mubariz and Ahmad W. Hotak defeated their rivals in ACB competition, held in Dubai on Friday 23 February.
Afghan Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) fighters Baz M. Mubariz and Ahmad W. Hotak defeated their rivals in ACB competition, held in Dubai on Friday 23 February.
First, Hotak defeated his Ukrainian rival Vladislav Stepanov by scoring in all three rounds and ended the fight in his favor.
Baz Mohammad Mubariz also powerfully beat his Scottish fighter Lain Feenan.
Both Mubariz and Hotak have appeared in numerous international fights including in major events organized by the Absolute Championship Berkut (ACB).
The two Afghan athletes had previously managed to win the fights against their Russian and Kyrgyz rivals during the fights organized by ACB.
