Rahmatullah Nabil raised a number of issues during a press conference, including engineering the upcoming elections, replacements and big contracts for election deals, the peace process, covert deal on Durand line and the formation of two observatory commissions.
Rahmatullah Nabil, who is a candidate for presidential elections, made sharp remarks and revelations against Ashraf Ghani, ARG’s electoral team and the government’s actions in capital Kabul on Sunday, accusing Ashraf Ghani of engineering the upcoming presidential elections.

He suggested the formation of two commissions to observe the performance of the government and the elections commissions.
“The crises of distrust, insecurity, economic and foreign policy have peaked in the country while the NUG is seeking to engineer the elections despite the fragile situation of the country,” said Nabil, adding that “the biggest contracts are currently given to those who declare support from the electoral ticket of the presidential palace.”

Criticizing the provincial trips of Ashraf Ghani, he said that “All trips of Ghani and in some cases CE Abdullah are campaigns for elections and even one project is being inaugurated two or three times.”
According to him, 95 percent of the recent appointments and dismissals have made for campaign purposes.

He noted about dealings on Durand line, saying that “based on documents, about one and a half kilometers of Afghan territory has been handed over to Pakistan, but the government is silent.”

Speaking about the peace process, Mr Nabil stressed that “Moscow meeting and Khalilzad’s efforts are moving forward in a wrong way, because this is in favour of Taliban, legitimizing them further.”
