New Changes in Ministry of Interior; Will Security be Provided?

The Afghanistan Interior Ministry has recently switched changes and new appointments, replacing provincial police officials.


The Afghanistan Interior Ministry has recently switched changes and new appointments, replacing provincial police officials.
The country’s Interior Ministry announced the changes on Saturday during a press conference, attended by Interior Minister Wais Ahmad Barmak, the senior deputy to the Interior ministry general Murad Ali Murad and other government officials.

“The replacement is for creating a technical and cadre system. If changes are not being made, the promotion will remain silent. The replacement will bring a new chapter,” said General Murad Ali Murad, the senior deputy to the Interior Ministry.

Speaking at the conference, Mr Murad emphasized on forming a professional and active system.

The following people assigned for new posts within the Interior Ministry of Afghanistan:
1. Major General Khalilullah as the commander of 303 zone.
2. Brigadier General Raz Mohammad as the commander of 808 zone.
3. Major Abdul Baqi Nuristani as the police commander for Kunduz province.
4. Major Aminullah Amarkhil as the police commander for Herat province.
5. Brigadier General Abdul Rahman Aqtash as the police commander for Takhar province.
6. Brigadier General Akhtar Mohammad Nawruzi as the police commander for Khost province.
7. Major Nabi Jan Mullah Khil as the police commander for Faryab province.
8. Major Abdul Qayyum Baqizoi as the police commander for Sar-e Pul province.
9. Colonel Mohammad Abdali as the police commander for Logar province.
10. Colonel Abdul Rauf Uruzgani as the police commander for Laghman province.
11. Colonel Farid Mashaal as the police commander for Ghazni province.
12. Colonel Sayed Abbas Sadat as the police commander for Nuristan province.
13. Brigadier General Mohammad Saber as the police commander for Badakhshan province.
14. Major Gholam Sakhi Ghafori as the police commander for Daikundi province.
15. Ahmad Fahim Qa’em as the police commander for Badghis province.
16. Major Haqnawaz as the police commander for Kunarha

It is noteworthy that some provincial police commanders as precautionary officers were fired.
