Non-Recognition of Taliban is the Result of our Efforts/ Changes will Surface soon: National Resistance Council
DID Press: The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan declared its stance regarding the transfer of TTP to the north and northeast of Afghanistan, intra-Afghan negotiations, and efforts to unite the Taliban’s opposing forces under one umbrella.
The National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan declared its stance late Monday at a press conference on various issues, including the transfer of TTP to the north.
Mawlawi Qurloq, a member of the council, said that the efforts of the council have led to the non-recognition of the Taliban, even by countries with which they have relations.
The council has not only held online meetings but its various committees are in contact with countries, international organisations, and movements to overcome the current status which has had progress as well, added Mawlawi Qurloq in response to a question.
According to him, changes in the situation in Afghanistan will surface in the near future.
Khalid Pashtun, another member of the council, meanwhile, said that the displacements are not natural migration but an attempt to transfer terrorism to the north and to destabilise Central Asian countries.
These movements are rejected by the National Resistance Council for the Salvation of Afghanistan, considering them as exporting terrorism to Central Asia and northern neighbors, he added.
Dr. Mahdyar, the other member of the council, said they are trying to integrate some prominent public figures, streams, and political parties under the umbrella of this coincil to get out of the current crisis.
We are trying to be an alternative to the current situation and to compel the Taliban to negotiate according to the provisions of the Doha Agreement, he added.
Dr. Hussain Yasa, another member of the council, said the transfer of TTP terrorists to the north of the country is strictly monitored by the council and is completely an inhumane issue.
We are in contact with the local people, and in addition to terrorist issues, we are inspecting the ethnic programs behind such relocations and movements, he added.
However, Mawlawi Qurloq in response to a question in Uzbek language, said that if the Taliban do not negotiate, the military option is on the table.
