NSA Mohib in New York on Afghan Situation
Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib arrived in New York on Sunday to speak at the UN Security Council about the situation in Afghanistan.
Afghan NSA Hamdullah Mohib arrived in New York on Sunday to speak at the UN Security Council about the situation in Afghanistan.
“Hamdullah Mohib will participate and speak at the UN security council meeting regarding the situation in Afghanistan as well as at the UN sanctions committee,” the office of the NSC said in a statement.
Mr Mohib is expected to meet with UN officials during his visit to New York City.
According to the statement, Afghan NSA will engage in discussions with New York City-based media and think tank community.
The Afghan government seems pushing for a place during the fifth round of talks between the US and Taliban delegations.
