The Pakistani Pm Imran Khan has reportedly said that his country has persuaded and brought Taliban to table for talks with America.
Addressing a ceremony held at the province’s Nishtar Hall to mark 100 days of the PTI government, Imran Khan said Friday that Islamabad has convinced the Taliban leaders to negotiate with Taliban.

“The country (US) which mocked Pakistan for its approach, asked us for help to bring Afghan Taliban to table for the peace process,” lamented Imran. The Nation reported.
“I was called ‘Taliban Khan’ when I said that we can’t solve the issue without dialogue,” he added.

The remarks comes as the Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi along with Tehmina Janjua and some other officials of the Pakistan’s state department are currently in Kabul for Afghanistan-Pakistan-China trilateral dialogue.
