The House of Representatives had tasked the internal security committee to visit Helmand peace convoy.
The peace activists do not want to meet with any official entity. This is the demand of the Afghan people from the peace activists to keep its impartial approach, the chairman of the internal security committee M. Iqbal Safi quoted from the peace activists as saying.
The Helmand peace convoy has launched a sit-in protest in front of US embassy in Kabul for several days, calling for the end of the war and the beginning of peace talks.
According to sources, the US embassy has not responded to peace activists so far.
Meanwhile, the peace activists have launched their sit-in protest outside the Russian embassy on Friday.
Arrived in capital Kabul, the peace activists have said they will voice their demand to all embassies of the countries which are involved in the Afghan war.
This comes as president Ghani has welcomed the demands of the peace activists, saying that if the Taliban group agrees, he will extend the ceasefire for a year.
