People Stage Protest in Ghor over Collapse of Key Areas

Firozkoh residents along with Taymani ethnic group launched a demonstration in Firozkoh city on Wednesday, accusing the government of neglecting the security situation.
The demonstrators also accused an MP of supporting Taliban insurgents to collapse Awshan and Khajagan areas.
They say if the central government and local authorities paid a serious attention to these areas, today, Taliban could not capture these key areas in Firozkoh city.
The protestors claimed that Ikramuddin Rezazada, the representative of Ghor province at the parliament was behind the collapse of these areas due to having a problem with Fazal Ahadkhan.
Rezazada along with his men supported Taliban insurgents for taking revenge from Faza Ahadkhan, the demonstrators said.
They urged from the local and central government to retake the mentioned areas from Taliban, introduce Rezazada to judicial organs and to provide the security of Firozkoh and districts of Ghor province.
Following the collapse of some areas of Shahrak and Dawlina districts, reports gaining ground on social media, indicating that Ikramuddin Rezazada cooperates with Taliban insurgents.
