President M. Ashraf Ghani discussed government’s 7-point peace plan during a meeting with the German Special Envoy for Afghanistan and Pakistan Markus Potzel, says presidential spokesperson.

Sediq Sediqqi, the presidential spokesperson said Sunday that German diplomats met president Ghani at the presidential palace and discussed Afghan peace process.
“The ownership and leadership of peace process must be Afghan. Peace must not fragment us but unite us,” Sediqqi twitted after the meeting.

The meeting comes as president Ghani has recently unveiled government’s 7-point plan to secure peace in the country.
