President Ghani just called Imran Khan to congratulate him on election victory; welcoming IK’s statement about his intention to pursue policies supportive of peace and stability in Afghanistan, bringing the two countries closer, Afghanistan ambassador to Pakistan Omer Zakhilwal twitted Sunday.
President Ashraf Ghani has invited Pakistan’s next Prime Minister Imran Khan to visit Kabul in a phone contact, Khan’s spokesman Naeem ul Haq said.
According to him, Imran agreed to pay the visit after assuming office.
