President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul Thursday morning for Germany to attend Munich Security Conference, Arg said in a statement.
President Ashraf Ghani left Kabul Thursday morning for Germany to attend Munich Security Conference, Arg said in a statement.
“On the sideline of the conference, the president will meet with the heads of delegation from participant countries to discuss peace, security and issues related to Afghanistan,” the statement read.
The 56th Munich security conference will be held later this week in Germany representatives of participant countries will discuss security among other issues.
This comes as US secretary of state Mike Pompeo informed president Ghani of notable progress in US-Taliban talks.
