President Ghani Plotting / People to Stand up Against Establishment – say MPs

Following ongoing protests in the north of Afghanistan by the fans of Junbish party, some MPs warned during the Wednesday session of the parliament that if Mr Ghani does not put aside plotting conspiracies, the people will stand up against the establishment.

Some members of the parliament (MPs) accuse president Ghani of plotting conspiracies.
Protesters in northern Faryab province on Wednesday closed the provincial election commission’s office, and high-level security officials had to visit the province once again.

Zahir Qadir, the representative of Nangarhar people said: “president Ghani is taking the country toward crisis through planning conspiracies. If the president does not bring changes to his policies, people will stand up against the establishment in the provinces”.
Ahmad Behzad, the representative of Herat province said: “the crisis created by the government has made safe zones insecure. People are either being killed or kidnapped. the government releases Taliban and Daesh agents”.

Lalai Hamidzai, the representative of the people of Kandahar said: “arresting Qaisari is just carried out by the government to make north insecure, and the presidential palace is responsible for killing the people”.

Meanwhile, the first deputy to the House of Representatives Hamayun Hamayun emphasized that keeping the first VP General Dostum in exile, is part of the offenses conducted by the presidency.
“The issue of the first VP is against the law and no one has the right to exile a person on the basis of law. The president’s action is against the law and we condemn it,” said Mr Hamayun.

It is worth mentioning that these representatives accuse the government of failing to manage the country.
