President Ghani to Travel to Azerbaijan

Afghan president Ghani will visit Azerbaijan to attend heart of Asia conference.
According to DID news agency report, the president is expected to take part at “Heart of Asia” conference that will be held on 30 November and 1 December in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan.
The participating states are Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, India, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, the United Arab Emirates, and the United Nations.
The process is also supported by wide range of other countries and international and regional organizations. Having strong intention to contribute to regional peace, stability and prosperity and the traditional bonds of friendship with Afghanistan.
The Heart of Asia – Istanbul Process was established to provide a platform to discuss regional issues, particularly encouraging security, political, and economic cooperation among Afghanistan and its neighbors.
