Protesters Close Samangan Provincial Building
Following protests in northern Samangan province, protesters closed the provincial building Wednesday and installed Gen. Dostum’s image over it.
Following protests in northern Samangan province, protesters closed the provincial building Wednesday and installed Gen. Dostum’s image over it.
The protesters in Samangan province warned that if the central government does not pay attention to their demands, they will close all government offices in Aybak city.
The protesters had previously threatened to close Mazar-e Sharif – Kabul high way. They said if the government does not respond to their demands they will not stop demonstrations but will expand it.
It is worth mentioning that two weeks passed since the launch of protests in northern provinces of the country and the protesters had closed the government offices in Faryab province as well.
