Protesters Gathered in PD-13 as Commander Alipor Arrested

According to reports, one of the anti-Taliban faces Commander Alipor, known as commander Shamshir was arrested around Sunday noon in Kabul.
Mr Alipor is said to be arrested by National Directorate of Security personnel in Dasht-e Barchi and was transferred to an unknown place.
According to local people, two vehicles packed with people in plainclothes, carrying machine guns arrested Mr Alipor.
The residents added that the gunmen prevent the people to reach commander Alipor.
Commander Alipor had been once besieged by the Special Forces in the central regions, but he could manage to escape.
Meanwhile, supporters of Alipor gathered in front of the Kabul PD-13, demanding his release.
The protesters have warned that if Mr. Alipor is not released as soon as possible, their protests will be broadened and will reach the presidential palace.
In the past few months, the government has arrested those faces known for stubborn opposition to the Taliban group.
