It is said that a high-level security delegation has gone to Faryab province the second time.
The fans of Junbish-e Islami have continued their protests in Faryab province as it enters its 9th day since the detention of Nezamuddin Qaisari, closing the provincial election commission office.

General Dostum had warned in a statement that the government’s measures may threaten the election process in the province.
“today morning, the protestors closed the provincial election commission office,” said M. Tahir Rahmani, the chairman of the provincial council.

On the other hand, the 209 Shaheen corps announced in a statement that the country’s chief of staff, the senior deputy to the Interior Ministry and the head of the local organs have entered Maimana city, asking the protesters to stop their demonstration due to security issues.
