The participants discussed efforts to restore security and stability as part of international endeavours to push the peace process in the south-central Asian country.
The quartet meeting reached a set of recommendations that will contribute to realise inclusive national reconciliation in Afghanistan in a manner that serves aspirations of the Afghan people.
According to the Arab News service report, US Special Envoy for Peace in Afghanistan, Zalmay Khalilzad, expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the meeting.
The details of the meeting have not been published yet.
Earlier, similar meetings were held with the presence of the four national security advisers hosted by Washington, in which the Afghan peace process and regional issues were raised.
