Rabbani, Dostum Discuss Election, Role of Etelaf-e Nejat in Turkey

The Afghan foreign minister Salahuddin Rabbani met with first VP General Abdul Rashid Dostum Friday night in Turkey.
Salahuddin Rabbani, who is also the head of Jamiat-e Islami party discussed the security situation in the country, the upcoming election, and Etelaf-e Nejat (Rescue Coalition) during a meeting with first VP general Dostum.
In the meeting, both sides discussed political and security status in the country, specially security of northern Afghanistan, plans and the stance of the Rescue Coalition, Salahuddin Rabbani wrote on his official Facebook page.
This comes as efforts are ongoing to pave the way for the return of Gen. Dostum to the country.
Speaking during a press conference with the Turkish Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım last week, the Chief Executive officer Abdullah Abdullah said negotiations were made in this regard during his meeting with the Turkish Prime Minister.
