After 23 rockets landed in different parts of Kabul city, the Iranian embassy in Kabul announced that one of the rockets landed at its compound, but had no casualties.
“One of the rockets fired this morning, landed at our Embassy compound. Fortunately, there were no casualties and all Embassy’s staff are in good health,” the Iranian Embassy in Kabul said in a statement.
The Afghan Interior Ministry said that 23 rockets were landed in various parts of Kabul city, killing at least 8 people and injured more than 30 others.
Tariq Arian, a spokesman for the Ministry said that this is not the final figure and investigations are underway.
