Rola Ghani; from Trade in ARG to Determining Identity of Afghan Ethnic Groups

Moreover, Sadat’s ethnic group is in the constitution of the country, and Mrs. Ghani’s comments can be considered as the opposition or distortion of the constitutional material and the subject of national betrayal.

What Rola Ghani, the wife of president M. Ashraf Ghani has stated about Afghan “Sadat” ethnicity, is undoubtedly an unjustified rhetoric that can be rejected from the base.
Rola Ghani has recently claimed in an interview that Sadat is not an ethnicity but is a class.

These words of president’s wife received a harsh reaction on social networks. A number of people have written on Facebook that the president’s wife is pursuing national and ethnic division.
There is no doubt that Afghanistan is a land of different ethnic groups, and all other ethnic groups in this geography have peaceful lives, recognize Sadat as an ethnic group, and have nothing to do with these people.

what Rola Ghani has said about the Sadat ethnic group, cannot give a rational explanation and justification, and it is better to refrain from expressing such opinion.
The identity of Rola Ghani herself is questionable for people. The citizens of this territory often pose these questions that what is the ethnicity of Rola Ghani and what is her religion or sect? so, it better for the president’s wife to first, answer these questions, then, give opinions about the Sadat ethnicity or any other ethnic group in this country.

Rola Ghani appeared after the NUG led by Ashraf Ghani came to power, then, shortly thereafter the presidential palace introduced her as the country’s first lady.
Mrs Ghani has no official responsibility within the government and is only the wife of the president. So, she has no right to talk about national and ethnic issues. On the other hand, Rola Ghani, who has the citizenship of Lebanon and the United States, has no reliable information about Afghanistan.

President Ghani himself recognized Sadat ethnicity as an ethnic group. The elders of this ethnic group met with Mr. Ghani and called for inserting their ethnicity in new electronic identity cards when the issue of distributing the card posed in the country.
According to reports, the president of the country has never said during these visits that Sadat is not an ethnicity.

Moreover, Sadat’s ethnic group is in the constitution of the country, and Mrs. Ghani’s comments can be considered as the opposition or distortion of the constitutional material and the subject of national betrayal. Therefore, Mrs. Ghani should avoid irresponsible comments about issues that does not have complete information as well as not to be a headache for Mr. Ghani and ARG’s address.
