Saleh to Become Ghani’s First VP
Current acting Interior Minister Amrullah Saleh will be nominated as M. Ashraf Ghani’s first vice president in the upcoming presidential election, according to sources.
Current acting Interior Minister Amrullah Saleh will be nominated as M. Ashraf Ghani’s first vice president in the upcoming presidential election, according to sources.
Sources added that Amrullah Saleh and Sarwar Danish will be president Ghani’s first and second VPs in the upcoming presidential election due to be held on July 20.
Mohammad Sarwar Danish is currently president Ghani’s second VP and Amrullah Saleh is the acting head of interior ministry.
President Ghani and Mr Saleh has not yet commented.
