Sayyaf Meets with Al-Saud’s Religious Advisers

Abdul Rab Radul Sayyaf, one of the jihadist faces of Afghanistan who recently traveled to Saudi Arabia on an official visit, met with some religious advisers and Muslim social relations of Malik Salman bin Abdulaziz.
It is said that Mr. Sayyaf’s visit to Saudi Arabia is taking place after 32 years as Arabian authorities officially invited him to their country.
According to reports, Mr. Sayyaf met with Sheikh Saad al-Shethri, a senior advisor to king Salman on the development of Islamic social and Islamic affairs, and Sheikh Abdullah Motlaq, a religious advisor, and Sheikh Saleh Suhaibani, a religious advisor to king Salman.
Although there has not yet been any report on the content of Mr. Sayyaf’s meetings with Saudi officials, it is believed that the visit is relevant to security and terrorism issues.
Mr. Sayyaf has had close relations with Saudi Arabia and completed his religious education there.
