The Head of NUG M. Ashraf Ghani has separately discussed peace, ceasefire, elections and other important issues of Afghanistan with leaders, political and Jihadi figures.

The Presidential Palace (ARG) said in a statement Tuesday that president Ghani had separately met with first VP General Abdul Rashid Dostum, former president Hamid Karzai, professor Abdul Rab Rasoul Sayyaf, Sebghatullah Mujaddadi, M. Jonus Qanuni, Ata M. Noor, Mohammad Mohaqiq, engineer Mohammad Khan, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar, M. Karim Khalili, M. Almas Zahid, Mir Amanullah Guzar, Haji Iqbal Safi, Haji Din Mohammad, Abdul Hakim Munib, M. Akbari, Sayed Hamid Gilani, Anwar ul-Haq Ahadi, Abdul Hadi Arghandiwal, Ataullah Ludin and a number of the members of Jamiat-e Islami Consensus Council led by Sayed Ikramuddin.

According to the statement, these meetings were ongoing for several days.
The meetings come as the Grand National Coalition declared existence about one week ago in capital Kabul, and earlier, the first VP Gen. Dostum returned to the country from Turkey.

Some experts believe the announcement of the existence of Grand National Coalition has made the Presidency to somehow listen to the demands of the political parties and leaders.
President Ghani had previously described the political parties as illegal, saying they had no public legitimacy.
