Taliban Killed Nearly 30 Commandos in Farah

Taliban group attacked commando forces of Afghanistan last night in Bala Boluk district of western Farah province, killing nearly 30 commandos and a number of others disappeared.



Taliban group attacked commando forces of Afghanistan last night in Bala Boluk district of western Farah province, killing nearly 30 commandos and a number of others disappeared.
“A number of the Special Forces killed during the raid and a number of them disappeared,” said western security officials to the media.

According to reports, about 30 commandos were killed during Taliban’s assault in Todanakha area as well as two armored tanks destroyed.
Armed oppositions also took away an armored tank along with all of its equipment.
According to eyewitnesses, 22 bodies of the Special Forces are on Saadat hill with the Taliban.

Taliban meanwhile attacked a security checkpoint in Brangtut village in Farah province, killing one soldier and taken another soldier in captivity.
Western Farah province is among the insecure provinces of the country as armed oppositions have widespread activities in the province.
