Taliban vowed in a statement they would not accept if the government cedes some areas to the group.
Foreign forces are struggling to form islands of power in some parts of the country to divide and split Afghanistan, the statement said.
Earlier, Gulbuddin Hekmatyar said at a press conference that the government of Afghanistan should hand over parts of the country to Taliban in order to settle reconciliation with the group.
Taliban meanwhile reacted against the issue by publishing a statement through Al Emara, stressing: “the Islamic Emirate does not need to take areas ceded by the government of Afghanistan; because it insists on the need for unity and solidarity of the country.”
Taliban have control over large parts of the country and will soon capture the rest of the territory, so they do not agree to take parts of Afghanistan in exchange for peace, the statement added.
Taliban emphasized in the statement the people of Afghanistan are brothers from any ethnicity or language, but some are pushing for differences among the people by supporting foreigners’ plan.
The foreign forces are trying to lead Afghanistan toward division by bringing their puppets in power, the statement underlined.
Gulbuddin Hekmatyar in an interview with Washington Post had said, he has a peace plan on agenda, in which, some parts of the country should be handed over to Taliban and in exchange, they enter negotiations with the government.
