25 scaremongers were killed and 10 others, including the Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid were injured as a result of clashes in Ghormach district, North security officials say.
“Clashes between the Afghan security forces and the insurgents in underway in Ghormach district, and as a result of land and air operation, 25 insurgents were killed and 10 others wounded,” press CEO of Shaheen 209 corps Nasratullah Jamshidi told DID news agency.
“10 insurgents’ vehicles were destroyed in clashes,” he added.
The insurgents captured Ghormach’s capital two days ago. Clashes are ongoing between them, and just yesterday, 51 scaremongers were killed in this district.
