Taliban Swears Allegiance with ISIL in Ghore
Two Taliban and ISIL groups agreed and swore allegiance, after holding meetings in Afghanistan’s Ghore Province, local sources of the province say.
“A Taliban commander, named “Shaikh ul-Neda” swore allegiance with “Shah Wali” the commander of ISIL group, after the talks,” Fazl ul-Haq Ehsan, chairmen of Ghore provincial council told DID news agency.
“Daesh and Taliban swore allegiance after ISIL members abandoned Murghab area and other provinces,” Mr. Ehsan added.
Meanwhile, Abdul Hay Khatibi, Ghore governor’s spokesman said that Taliban and ISIL leaders had talks with each other but had not reached an agreement.
