A recently released list of Taliban’s 17-member negotiating team shows that most of them are graduated from Pakistani madrasas.
Some sources have released a list of Taliban’s 17-member delegation for the peace talks on media outlets which features controversial figures.
According to the list, the Taliban’s negotiating team includes those trained in Akura Khattak-e Peshawar madrasa, Farooqiyah Karachi Community, Saleh madrasa in Quetta, Seriab Baharul Uloom in Quetta and Miramshah Muba ul-Uloom in Peshawar of Pakistan.
Based on the list, the names of the Taliban’s negotiating team for peace talks are as follows:

The Taliban have not yet officially confirmed this list, but the presence of Mullah Shirin Akhund, who is considered to be the mastermind of General Raziq’s assassination, is more controversial.
