Targeted Killings; 2 Female Judges Assassinated in Kabul
Two Afghan female judges were assassinated by un-known gunmen in tenth police district of Kabul city, the supreme court confirmed in a statement.
A spokesman for the supreme court said on Sunday morning that two female judges were killed and their driver was injured in the attack.
Kabul Police said that the event took place at 08:30 am (local time) in Qala-e Fathullah of Kabul city.
“Unknown gunmen attacked their car,” he added.
No group or individual immediately claimed responsibility.
This comes as targeted killings surged across Afghanistan and the government blame the Taliban group.
