Terrorists Surrounded in Baghlan Police HQ: Interior Ministry
Following an armed attack on Baghlan police headquarter in Pul-e Khumriy city on Sunday noon, Afghanistan Interior Ministry says that two terrorists were gunned down and other terrorists were surrounded by police forces.
Following an armed attack on Baghlan police headquarter in Pul-e Khumriy city on Sunday noon, Afghanistan Interior Ministry says that two terrorists were gunned down and other terrorists were surrounded by police forces.
Baghlan police HQ is currently clashing with the terrorists and the special police forces are clearing up the area.
“Two attackers were killed and the others are surrounded by police forces,” the Interior Ministry said in a statement.
Although the Ministry did not comment about the number of casualties, provincial public health officials said that at least 30 people have been taken to hospital.
Taliban claimed responsibility of the attack amid calls for ceasefire both by the Afghan government and the United States.
