Time of holding Parliamentary & district council elections to be vowed

Chairman of independent election commission secretariat says that the time of parliamentary and district council elections will be notified in a week.
According to (DID) news agency report, Mohammad Warimach, head of Afghanistan’s independent election commission says that the time of holding parliamentary and district council elections in the country will be announced in a week.

“Independent Election Commission, the Government and the international community have pledged to hold elections this year,” Mohammad Warimach said.
He pointed to the challenges that are facing this process, adding that if the government does not ensure the potential of these plans to the commission, holding elections this year is unlikely.
However, Afghan government claims that it has had the necessary cooperation with the electoral institutions, holding parliamentary and district council elections.
