US NSA Insists on Urgent start of IAN in phone call with President Ghani

US NSA Robert O’Brien in a phone call with President Ashraf Ghani emphasized on early start of intra-Afghan negotiations.

“NSA O’Brien had a great phone call with President Ashraf Ghani today to discuss the need for intra-Afghan talks to start without delay,” twitted NSC.

During the call, Mr O’Brien also reiterated U.S. support for a sovereign, democratic, and unified Afghanistan that never again serves as a source of international terrorism.
U.S. NSA added that his country stands with the Afghan security forces who have made tremendous sacrifices for the Afghan people.
