US President Donald Trump twitted Tuesday about the glorious end of long wars, but did not mention which war has come to a glorious end.
“Endless Wars, especially those which are fought out of judgment mistakes that were made many years ago, and those where we are getting little financial or military help from the rich countries that so greatly benefit from what we are doing, will eventually come to a glorious end!” US president twitted.
Although Mr Trump has mentioned the end of long wars, it is not clear which war? Does he mean the war in Afghanistan, US withdrawal from Syria, or the proxy wars in different parts of the world?
According to some experts, Trump’s comment on twitter meant US withdrawal from Syria and the “rich countries” was probably Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, some sources reported of a leaked document that the draft of a peace agreement among Taliban group, US, and the Afghan government has been prepared by US-based research center the Rand Corporation.
According to the leaked document, a core bargain involving both the internal and external parties includes a declaration of a ceasefire, Taliban’s complete renunciation of links with the terrorist organizations, complete, phased ending of the current US and NATO military mission over an 18-month transitional time period.
