100 children & youths join Taliban in Badghis


Provincial council officials of Badghis province stressed that Taliban use children and youths more against the security forces in the battlefields.
According to (DID) news agency report, Farid Akhizi, deputy of Badghis provincial council reported about the activities of 5500 Taliban insurgents in the province. “Taliban use children and youths more against the security forces in the battlefields,” he added.
These people are between 12 to 18 years, according to Akhizi.

“Taliban commander uses children and youths more in “suicide bombing” attacks,” deputy provincial council of Badghis province said.
Mr. Akhizi added that Taliban are recruiting people who are going to “schools and mosques.”
Recruited people are more residents of Bala Murghab, Abkamari, and Qadis districts of Badghis province, according to him.
On the other hand, Khalid Safi, an employee of the press office of Badghis governor confirmed the news, and said that those who were absorbed to Taliban fighters, along with the commanders and members of the group are conducting terror and destructive attacks in Bala Murghab district of the province.

Mr. Safi emphasized that local office of Badghis province is trying to make the situation better as soon as possible.
He said that local department of Badghis province has launched training and awareness programs to end the problem.
