100 New COVID-19 cases Surfaced in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Public Health announced on Monday that 478 suspicious coronavirus cases have been tested in the laboratories during the past 24 hours, in which, 96 cases turned out positive.

“3 Covid-19 patients died in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of deaths to 1,415 in the country,” said the Ministry.

The new positive cases were registered in Kabul, Herat, Kandahar, Balkh, Nangarhar, Baghlan, Daikundi, Ghazni, Nimruz, Ghor and Helmand provinces.

The total number of coronavirus cases has reached 38,494 nationwide, the Ministry added.

According to the Ministry, in the past 24 hours, 20 infected patients have been recovered and the total number of recoveries has reached 30,557 in the country.

At the same time, 3 patients died of the virus. The total number of deaths soared to 1,415 across the country.
