15 villages cleared of oppositions in Maidan Wardak


Security officials of Maidan Wardak province say that “As a result of clearing operation of country’s security forces, 25 armed Taliban were killed and wounded and 15 villages have been cleared of opponents in Nerkh district of the province,”
According to (DID) news agency report, Ahmad Fahim Qaim, provincial police chief of Maidan Wardak said, as a result of a joint clearing operation, the battle which had been launched by the special security forces and national army forces of the province three days ago, in Nerkh district of Maidan Wardak province. More than 15 villages in Nerkh district of the province have been cleared of oppositions and 25 people of the opponents were killed and wounded.

“A Humvee Tank, which had been fallen to Taliban two years ago was fired along with many vehicles of this group,” he added.
The clearing operation of security forces had been launched two days ago in Nerkh district of Maidan Wardak province that 25 armed Taliban were killed and 15 villages were cleared of oppositions.
