Israeli Politician: Israel Has Reached a Political and Moral Deadlock

DIDPress: In controversial remarks, a former Israeli army general spoke of the collapse of the government structure and neglect of the fate of hostages in Gaza.

Yair Golan, a politician and former Israeli army general, criticized the Netanyahu government, stating that “Israel no longer has a real government, and only an autocratic individual remains at the helm of power.”

The leader of the Democrats Party, referring to the situation of Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, added: “For more than 570 days, hostages have been held in Gaza, yet the Israeli government has made no effort to secure their release. Instead, hopes are pinned on foreign leaders like Putin and Trump.”

Golan described this situation as a failure of moral principles and internal cohesion within the Israeli regime.
