Afghan Minister Appreciates Iran’s Sincere Cooperation in Health and Medical Services
DIDPess: We appreciate Iran’s sincere cooperation in the field of health and medical services and hope similar projects will be carried out in other provinces as well, said Noor Jalal Jalali, Public Health Minister of the interim government in Afghanistan, during a visit to an Iran-backed hospital under construction in central Bamyan province.

Considered as one of the largest healthcare projects in the region, the hospital has been built with technical and financial partnership from Iran and is currently in its final stages of construction.
The medical center is expected to open soon and serve the residents of Bamyan and surrounding areas.
During his official visit to Bamyan, the Minister toured various sections of the project and expressed gratitude to the engineers and staff involved in advancing the hospital’s construction.
Jalali also emphasized that developing healthcare infrastructure in central provinces of Afghanistan, especially in areas facing shortages of medical facilities, is a top priority for the ministry.
