Araghchi: Israel, After Defeated in War with Iran, Sought Refuge in US

DIDPress: After its defeat in the war with Iran, Israel fled to its main patron, the United States—and now, with utter shamelessness, it is dictating red lines and setting the agenda for America in negotiations with Iran, said Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, responding to Netanyahu’s remarks.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the PM of the Israeli regime, recently claimed that Iran should not be allowed to produce missiles with a range exceeding 480 kilometers—a statement that drew a sharp reaction.

Meanwhile, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, responded on his X account, saying “nearly two years ago, Netanyahu vowed victory in Gaza—but what was the result? A warrant was issued for his arrest over war crimes, and 200,000 new fighters joined Hamas’ ranks.”

“Netanyahu imagined he could destroy the achievements of Iran’s 20-year peaceful nuclear program—but the opposite happened,” he added.

“For every Iranian scientist Israel assassinated, hundreds of students were trained. They will show Natanyahu what they are capable of,” he added.

With the support of the U.S. and its Western allies, Israel was defeated by the Islamic Republic of Iran in a 12-day war. Moreover, Iran’s military delivered a crushing response to both the U.S. and Israel, demonstrating its latent capabilities.

Critical Israeli sites were struck by Iran’s ballistic and hypersonic missiles, while the so-called “Iron Dome” and advanced defense systems like TAD—considered among the world’s most sophisticated—were rendered ineffective.
