Humanitarian crisis in Gaza; 750 killed & injured in one day

DID Press: In the past 24 hours, more than 750 Palestinians were martyred and injured as a result of the continuous attacks of the Israeli regime, announced Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced in a statement that as a result of the continuous attacks of the Israeli regime, in the past 24 hours, 113 people were martyred and 637 others were injured.

With this figure, the total number of martyrs of the genocidal war has reached 60,034.

These bodies and the injured have been transferred to hospitals in the Gaza Strip, but a large number of victims remain under the rubble or on the streets, and due to the continued attacks and extensive destruction of infrastructure, relief and rescue teams are unable to transfer them to hospitals.

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, 8,867 people have been killed and 33,829 injured in the Gaza Strip since March 18, 2025.

These figures only show part of the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, which occurred as a result of the severe siege and the destruction of health and relief infrastructure.

The ministry also reported that the number of victims of the so-called “mortal martyrs” who have been targeted by Israeli regime attacks in lines to receive humanitarian aid or in search of food continues to increase.

In the past 24 hours alone, 22 people have been killed in these attacks and more than 199 have been injured.

Since the beginning of the war, the total number of martyrs of the group has reached 1,179 and the number of injured has reached more than 7,957.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health also reported that about 14,000 Palestinians are still missing and trapped in the rubble in the Gaza Strip, and access to them is impossible due to the ongoing bombardment and lack
of relief facilities.

Reports indicate that large areas of the Gaza Strip are facing a complete shortage of food, water, medicine and basic services due to the severe Israeli blockade, and the strip is on the verge of an unprecedented humanitarian catastrophe.

At the end of the statement, the Palestinian Ministry of Health once again called on the international community and international institutions to take action to stop this genocidal war and send immediate humanitarian aid to Gaza.

This comes as the Zionist regime, violating the fragile ceasefire on March 18, 2025, has resumed its attacks and prevented the entry of food and medical aid into the region.
