South Khorasan to Host Afghanistan–Iran Economic Exhibition

DID Press: A joint Afghanistan–Iran exhibition, aimed at expanding economic, trade, and cultural cooperation, will be held in South Khorasan in October, 2025.

Gholam Hussain Hussaini, head of the South Khorasan Chamber of Cooperatives announced that the joint exhibition will take place in October.

According to him, the exhibition is intended to strengthen economic cooperation, showcase trade capacities, and develop export markets.

“Considering the existing capacities in South Khorasan province and the cultural and economic commonalities with Afghanistan, the exhibition can play an important role in expanding interactions between economic actors of the two countries,” he added.

Hussaini also reported active participation from chambers of commerce, manufacturing companies, export units, and relevant organizations in the event, expressing hope that the exhibition will pave the way for the signing of memorandums of understanding and international trade agreements.
